How the Bookkeeping Practice and teaching praCTICE Works

 For Bookkeeping:

Specializing in Small Business bookkeeping, I believe that the owners of these businesses should have a good relationship with their bookkeeper and accountant or tax preparer and actually be part of the putting together of the monthly books. This means steady communication to explain all financial transactions that are not easily explainable.  The business owner, the bookkeeper, and the tax preparer (EA, Accountant or CPA) should all be a team and work together for accurate books which will in the long run save the taxpayer on Federal and State taxes.

For Teaching:

One of the important things that I do in my life is to share the knowledge that I have with people currently mainly in webinars that are sponsored by NYC non-profit organizations.  Accompany Capital and BOCnet are just two of them. Among what I teach (free webinars -- free registration) is QuickBooks Online, general bookkeeping practices as well as the top 10 tax tips for small businesses. I believe in sharing knowledge with others --- it's the 'human' thing to do.
